AWESOMENESS...

Nothing like inspiration to look at while inking Cthulhu - This is a sculpture my fiance made me to hold my art pens in on my drawing desk. I love it so much!

FLASHBACK TUESDAYS - ONE

So Im gonna try something new and see how well this works out. This is only something I'll be doing here on my blog. Not on facebook or twitter. Not only will it be a way for me to get caught up on having new stuff ready to show on an ongoing basis, but it'll also be a way to show off some of my older pieces that Ive kept around that Ive always loved and treasured. Some will be from my late teen years, others from my early child hood years.

Below is the first piece in this series of FLASHBACKS. My computer says this piece was scanned way back in November of 2004, but I think the actual art for this piece was illustrated around 2002 or so. Its a splash page from the third issue of my gothic horror vampire comic, HiVEN. To this very day it still holds a special place in my heart.

R.I.P - MOEBIUS

Sad to hear the passing of the talented MOEBIUS. I never saw a lot of his work, but I did know of him and what books I did see were insane and amazing to admire. R.I.P -

SOMETIMES...

Sometimes, my artistic abilities are required of me to use when it comes to daily activities with my daughter. For instances she wanted me to make her a house, so I got some cardboard together and constructed her the best house I could imagine. Below is the finished house after her and my fiance decorated it with paint and paper cut out flowers. The other pictures show the building process as I used nothing more than tape and staples...

And when I was done, I actually got a break to READ a comic...
