TO KEEP THE PEOPLE'S INTEREST - DAY 5
DAY 5:
Here's the sketch to one of my tmnt prints. The piece was actually a commission for a client that was later used as a print. Below is the original sketch I drew, the inked outlines, the fully inked version, and then the colored print version. This is also available still for purchase off of my online store. You can view/visit the site by simply clicking on the link below:

TO KEEP THE PEOPLE'S INTEREST - DAY 4
DAY 4
Here's a sketch to a 9INE piece puzzle sketch card set I was commissioned in 2011. The client asked for Weapon X in the middle of the puzzle and a series of villains and superheros surrounding him. I think the cards came out nicely and the puzzle was a lot of fun to illustrate too.
In order of the cards from left to right: Top row: Sabertooth, Deadpool, Cyber, Middle row: Omega Red, Magneto, Bottom Row: Jean Grey, and Cyclops.

TO KEEP THE PEOPLE'S INTEREST - DAY 3
DAY 3:
I was commissioned a few years ago to illustrate a drawing for a comic book called: NAZI WEREWOLVES FROM OUTER SPACE. The series is currently on the third book and my drawing was actually used as a pin-up in the back of the first issue. Its a fun little idea and if you get the chance, check out the book. Below is the original sketch for the commission along with the finished inks and the colored version~

TO HELP KEEP THE PEOPLE'S INTEREST - DAY 2
Day 2 of continuing the random sketch from my old file folders:
Here's a really old sketch, dating probably back to 2007. I was approached by a thrash metal band that had some popularity in the mid-to late 80's. One of the founding members keeping the band going all these years later, had asked me to illustrate the cover to their next album. This whole experience was a HUGE lesson for me in the world of free lance. To make a long story short, certain band members egos lead to me being let go from the project without being paid for the weeks of work already put into it. I buried that drama in the past, but from time-to-time find this drawing when I go through my old files. I still really like the picture and possibly will one day use the idea/layout for something~

TO HELP KEEP PEOPLE'S INTEREST...
While I'm working on paid work I can't show, I figured I'd post some sketches to keep the blog in circulation until I can post the new stuff. So for the next week or more, everyday, I'll be posting random old sketches from projects, page layouts, and print ideas to kind of show you how I work out my process.
Here's a quick sketch idea for a scene for a project I had in mind of doing about a year ago or so. I put the idea on the back burner, at the time, due to paid work and work on bloody olde englund. Since then, I sometimes will add a new idea or more story to the project, but it'll probably be a while before this one is up and moving. This book will def. have a lot of monsters and horror element to it~

NEW BLOODY OLDE ENGLUND PAGE and UPDATE ON THE BOOK
So Ive been given the honor to get to do artwork full time now for a while and as grateful as I am at doing it, it also comes with quite a few sacrifices. Mainly meaning, having to pick paid work over unpaid work. I've had to put BLOODY OLDE ENGLUND on the back burner so many times since I've gone full time that it hurts my heart to not know when the book will be complete. I know the writer/co-creator: Bobby Nash, has moved on to other projects being published and done, which is fine and understandable. Most of the work of the book though falls mainly on me since I am doing the pencils/inks/colors. BUT I do promise that the story is STILL in progress and in between the paid work to keep the lights on and food on the table, I am slowly inching my way through this story and to the finish line.
Below is a another page and just a taste of the violence and gore that lies a wait for our hero, Joe Englund...

DRAGONCON!!!! AUG.30TH-SEPT.2ND
Yep! It's already that time again for the best show in the south - DRAGONCON! AUG.30th-SEPT.2nd
Time tends to fly by and I swear it almost feels like yesterday when we were just there.
Anywho, this year is going to be great! I've got TONS of new prints since the last show. So far, somewhere around 16+. Trying to finish up at least 3-4 more new ones by the then. I'll debut them here and on my other sites as I finish them. Hope to see some familiar faces at the show~

QUIVER SNEAK PEEK PAGE
For the past month or so I've been working on this comic book for Michael Carr and his studio CZK WORLD STUDIOS (www.czkworld.blogspot.com), on a comic he created, called: QUIVER. It tells the story of LUCIFER leaving his thrown. I can't really go too far into detail about it, but its definitely an interesting story. Below is a page from the comic.
To view the trail to the book and to find out more about the story visit the attached link below:
