So as far back as I can remember I have always been making my own little comic books. On occasion I would draw a picture of Wolverine or Batman, but the second I got the comic book fever I would always make and create my own comics. Around the time I was a freshmen in high school I learned about comic shows. By the time I was a sophmore I had started setting up and trying to sell my own little comics I made by xeroxing down at the local Office Depot. One of the first books I created was a comic that for me, paid homage to my eternal obsession with the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES. I decided to make a character that not only would have the same attitude as Raphael, but also just as crazy of a name too. I called it: BOUNTY BULL FROG.
Over the years while flipping back through old artwork I always look back at the mini-comic I made for him (it wasnt very long, maybe ten pages or so) and always say to myself, how can you bring this character back? Needless to say, I think I found a way. Possibly keep an eye out for something about him in the distant future...
BOUNTY BULL FROG #1 was published August of 1999. I was thirteen years old...
